Variation No. 1 of the Ballina Town and Environs Development Plan 2009-2015

VARIATION NO. 1 OF THE Ballina Town and Environs Development Plan 2009-2015 was adopted by the Members of Mayo Co Council on October 17^th 2011. The variation incorporates the Core Strategy into the Plan as required under the Planning and Development (Amendment) Act 2010. The Core Strategy sets out an evidenced based strategy for the spatial development of the town and its environs that is consistent, as far as practicable, with national and regional development objectives in the National Spatial Strategy and the Regional Planning Guidelines for the West Region 2010 – 2022.
